Right Christine, how to make a link 😉

Go to Martin Shone’s site HOME page and copy the site URL.
Click edit on this post, in edit make sure your on visual editor, high light Martin Shone’s name, it should now be blue.
On the top line above the post you will see 3 complete chain links, click it, you will get a pop-up.
Delete http:// and then paste the url, next line type in martin shone, most important is tick the little box, open on seperate page.
Then click add link and that’s it, there should now be a line under Martin Shone’s name.

You deserve it, Christine! Your poems are awesome!

And here’s how to make links show up in the HTML mode:

    Journey into Poetry

Just copy the whole code above and delete the all spaces I put in. Take not that a and href have really have one space between them when coding. Then change the link (don’t forget to include the http:// part) and also change the text you want to appear.

The resulting text should look like this.

    Journey into Poetry

Oh okay, that didn’t work because WordPress still formatted the code even with the spaces, argh.

    Lemme try that again.

Here is the code for HTML. Just copy how it is typed, and change the links and the text you wanna appear accordingly. 🙂

    Here is the code:

If that doesn’t work, pls see this:

    Sorry! 😦

    Congratulations on your awards! 🙂

Here’s how to do a link in your post via WordPress support with some images that show you how to do it in the post editor.

I also have some ‘how to’ posts in my blog that might help, including this:

Take your time over learning to use WordPress and in the meantime, just enjoy yourself here.
